I accept dogs under 15 lbs. at adult weight.
Each pet is ready to go home in one to two hours. Multiple pet households can expect each individual pet to have at least a one hour appointment. i.e. Two pets will take two or so hours. Three pets will take three or so hours.
I recommend that dogs be groomed every 4-6 weeks. I prefer not to handle dogs that are not professionally groomed (Haircut) at least every 8 weeks.
I offer While You Wait services to those who prefer that option. To reduce crowding in the waiting room, only two people from the same family can wait inside during the pets grooming.
I accept pets who are able to physically and mentally handle the rigors of professional grooming.
For the comfort and safety of the dogs in my care, I rarely accept pets with broken skin, serious dental issues, severely matted hair, or ear infections.
Dogs with matted hair are usually referred out to another groomer.
Dogs with abnormal ears will not have the ears cleaned, as they need veterinary care.
Protecting your pet from preventable disease and viruses is the owners responsibility.
Rabies vaccination is required by law for dogs over 6 months old.
Clients who arrive over 15 minutes late for an appointment, will need to reschedule.
I do not perform any service that causes any pet undue stress, if the pet is stressed, I may decide to stop work and discuss the options with the pets owner.
Pets must enter and exit the salon on a leash, in your arms, or in a carrier.
I appreciate clients who offer to pay for missed appointments.
I recommend that all potential new clients schedule a Meet and Greet appointment prior to the first service appointment .
I groom live on Youtube . Clients dogs may be on video and pet owners voices may be picked up in the recording. Photos of groomed pets are often shown on social media sites.
In an effort to keep costs down, bows and bandannas must be requested.
